The hotel was in a great spot. It's right on Damrak St, which ended up being the main road in the center of town. We could easily walk to a lot of destinations from our hotel. In fact, we could have walked to the hotel from Central Station. However, we didn't know this, and we got taken advantage of by a taxi driver who charged us over 12 Euro for the couple blocks to the hotel. The winding staircase in the hotel is dangerously small, and we feared for our lives as we carried our luggage up and down (more so down than up). The shower wasn't separated from the rest of the bathroom, so the water got everywhere. The customer service we received varied by employee. One of the men at the front desk was VERY helpful and friendly. The other one was smug, unpleasant, and completely unhelpful. Overall, I'd recommend the hotel. Just know what you're getting into. It's not the nicest accomodation, the rooms smelled like smoke, and it was slightly expensive for what we got in return. But it was very convenient, and that rated high on our list.
