Hostal Boqueria Barcelona is a well-kept and comfortable 2-star equivalent Spanish-type "hostal" that lies in the heart of the city. In fact the hostal is situated directly on what is probably Barcelona's most famous street, La Rambla and is truly an excellent starting point from where you can discover most of the city's sights on foot. Also, just opposite Hostal Boqueria, is the Mercat de la Boqueria which was named the best market in the world in 2006. The hostal was opened in 2002 while further improvements were made in 2006 to offer more facilities.
