The hotel itself has been home to hospitality since 1850, and in 2000 the hotel's interior was completely renovated, while its original façade was left intact. Hotel Condal Barcelona: Latest Review
The hotel Condal was clean and the majority of the staff friendly. The rooms are very basic but this was accectable for the price. Our room overlooking the front of the hotel was very noisy. After 2 nights we requested a room change to the rear of the hotel. The reception person was not very helpful but after having to be 'firm' we were moved. Our new room was quiet and we enjoyed the rest of our stay.
