Hotel U Tri Bubnu Prague: Latest Review
A pretty no frills affair in a great location just off the old town square. We knew we ere not going to spend much time in the hotel on this trip so this suited us fine. The staff employ a laissez-faire policy, helpful and courteous when engaged without being over bearing. Breakfast was typical of the continent (pork, cheese, cereal, juice, pastries), just the job to get going in the morning. The room was nicely furnished for what it was offering ample storage, good shower, and sattelite tv. Would have been nice to have a double mattress instead of two singles pushed together, though I'm told this is the norm in Prague. Would recommend this to anyone looking for somewhere comfortable to sleep at night but spending most the time exploring the city. Free internet in the reception came in handy and the Brazilian restaurant next door smelled terrific although we never ate there. Sometimes noisy in the room at night, but to be expected given the location. Oh, and mind your head as you walk (no lifts!) up the stairs!
