3 star Hotel Ducale Rome is housed in a quaint building approximately 150 metres from Porta Maggiore in the centre of Rome. The hotel, occupying three floors (without lift), comprises of 16 well equipped guest rooms. Each of the rooms has been arranged and decorated to provide a cosy environment, ideal for resting after visiting the the city's famous attractions. In-room facilities at Hotel Ducale Rome include a mini bar and air conditioning - a necessity during the hot summer months. Also during the warmer months, guests can enjoy breakfast in the hotel's garden. Termini train station lies circa 900 metres away and there is a tram and metro line in the direct area.

Hotel Ducale Rome: Latest Review
The Hotel Ducale is situated within walking distance of the Rome metro system which apart from being great value is the quickest way around town. While being close enough to explore the city it is also far enough away from the centre to afford a decent night's sleep. The triple room we had appeared to have been recently decorated and was in an excellent state of repair. It was roomy and comfortable and had r/c aircon/heating, safe, minibar and en suite wc with shower, bidet and hair drier. The breakfast provided was enough to sustain you till lunch and the 5 or 6 staff we encountered (more than I expected during a one night stay in a small hotel) were all efficient, friendly and spoke English. Our decision to use the Hotel Ducale as our base for a 2 day sightseeing tour of Rome was, on reflection, a major contibution to achieving evrything on our itinary. In fact we also had time to attend the weekly audience the Pope gives in St. Peter's Square which we had previously been unaware of. In conclusion, the Hotel Ducale is an excellent base for visiting Rome and I will use it again myself on any future visits.
